All of us at Ninepoint Partners are thrilled to sponsor 17-year-old Canadian swimmer, Summer McIntosh. Summer is widely regarded as a gold-medal hopeful in several events at this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
At the age of 14, Summer became the youngest athlete to compete for Team Canada at the Tokyo Summer 2020 Olympic Games and took fourth place in the Women’s 400-meter Freestyle event. In March 2023, she first broke the senior world record in 400m freestyle, and shortly after, the 7-year world record in the 400-metre individual medley.
On December 1, 2023, Summer ended U.S. star Katie Ledecky’s 11-year run of 400m freestyle victories in American pools. Canadian Press named her the Female Athlete of the Year for 2023.
That girl does not do anything slowly.

A few of Summer's other achievements include:
[Summer’s] done what no Canadian athlete has done before. When you think of all the great athletes that we’ve had, and you see what Summer has accomplished at 17, it’s a testament not only to her but to her coach and to her parents who all work together as a team.
John Atkinson, Swimming Canada’s high-performance director and national coach
Summer is truly an extraordinary athlete and a shining example for young Canadians across the country. Summer represents many of the values that Ninepoint holds dear, including her can-do attitude and her commitment to being the best in her field.
